Designs and conducts transformational leadership programmes that combine powerful development processes and a team of outstanding contributors
Viewpoint
Leadership courses which teach “how to lead” are less effective than structured “development pathways” that expand thinking and the capacity to learn, permit exploration of personal, professional and organisational issues with peers, and stretch individuals and teams out of their comfort zones to connect with purpose and make a difference. Leadership development is a generative process that combines self-discovery, organisational diagnosis and action, and reflection-on-experience.
Cases
MJA designed and directed a year-long multi-module leadership programme to accelerate the development of talented project and programme directors. The programme increased participant confidence and capability to lead at more senior levels, built a global community of highly-networked leaders, and enhanced individual and collective capacity to initiate and execute strategic change.
MJA was asked by a FTSE 50 business to design a 12-month talent development programme for global executives with the potential to become future CEOs. The programme blended self-discovery, CEO-mentoring, facilitated workshops, self-directed learning, breakthrough projects and a residential business school event into a highly personalised and powerful development experience.
